I don't think any religion improves or degrades the person you already are. As is shown on this very thread, if you are a nasty person, claiming religion is not going to change that. If you are a good person, claiming religion is not going to change that.

Pseudo speciation on the part of one group of atheistic s or Christians or subgroups of the two see each other as ‘sub- human’ or at least less of a human than themselves. [or different religious denominations]; in the case of atheistic s the GNU’S , [new] angry atheistic s, Darwin atheistic s etc. In the mind, these less than ‘human’ , less than ‘Christians’, it doesn’t count if you ‘kill them’.
The more you kill off the more powerful you appear and hence the greater reproductive rewards.

There are reasons for this type behavior much to lengthy to go into here.
What I have said above comes from my notes taken from a series of on line lectures by Robert Sapolsky at Stanford University.. The series is lengthy and requires a few weeks to listen to and take notes. Several requires listening to more than once for me.
Dr Sapolsky is a genius and this series on human behavior is a must. [the character in my avatar]
I will further state: if one has not been educated on this level by Sapolsky and others there is really no reason to post blind speculation on here as to human behavior.

One thing I have always been curious about, regarding Creation or Intelligent Design is just what it is about both that seems to scare the heck out of the Evolutionist folks that they seek their best to disqualify any scientist or teachers/professors that happen to believe in such?
As for Creation is it really that you feel it would violate separation of Church and State or is it that you cannot stomach the possibility that somewhere in the discussion the word GOD and Creator will appear once or more?
I still believe that Creation and Intelligent Design or an Intelligent Source should be taught as competing theories as to how life got here and allow individuals the right to exercise their minds and make up their own decisions. All one has to do is view Ben Stein's Expelled to see that there is a huge bias against those who do not accept Evolution.
bWe are teaching assumptions all the time. Science, as I have heard it from NatGeo and History International programs, knows very little about our Earth's core and the bottom of the Ocean yet we teach what we assume to be there and expect to be there without having dogmatic facts. As more research is done and new things discovered then what is being taught is altered. Evolution is still very much a theory but due to the fact that other competing theories are prohibited from sharing the stage with Evolution it is somehow given more credence than just a theory.
Why is it that this is such an explosive subject that competing theories have to be totally squelched as for those who believe against evolution?
There are competing YouTube videos that question Expelled as false and not truthful but the persons making those are also biased and there appears an agenda behind them. It's a you said/he said type thing but the veracity at which hairs raise on the backs is amazing. It's as if you were talking about someone's Mother. If Expelled contains some errors it also contains much truth but the videos against it have not had to stand up to the same critique and have no fact checkers so they get away with saying anything they want. Is there a concerted effort, in the scientific world to squelch other competing theories? If one takes this forum, which is by no means scientific, then it's reasonable to assume it is true that there is, at least in my opinion that's the case..

Not to mention those who do subscribe to the Creation (by God) theory do not have to know the intricate details that God used to bring it all about. It is a given and accepted that a process was used but the hows, whys, wheres and all are absorbed into Faith.
Even if I did not subscribe to Creation, by God, I would be wanting to rely upon some Intelligent or more Intelligent source. What would be frighting is if all this was an accident, without any Intelligent guidance. Regardless of if you get into parallel Universes through black holes and the like you still have to come to some origin if you choose some non-God source for the event.
As for God we accept that God always existed and for me that existence was in a Spiritual form and Spiritual Realm with no Physical properties. It is mind numbing enough to try and comprehend Eternity past and Eternity future with time falling out of the equation. Add to that NO Beginning or origin and it is, in my mind and opinion, an inconceivable process which the inherent limitations of our human minds cannot grasp, conceive, or envision.
