Evolution does NOT deny a god any more that the discovery of heliocentric solar system denied god.  You don't find many people who don't accept that the sun is the center of the solar system.  In a few more generations, it will likely be just as rare that people believe man evolved from a lump of clay.

Yes, GB, when you proudly proclaim ignorance and outright stupidity, you should expect to be ridiculed, demeaned and insulted.  There is a cure for it: Read a book.

Not kidding. It is a book that you should read. I don't expect you to. You don't want to risk learning something that you don't want to know. It presents solid, irrefutable science in a way that even you can understand. If you choose to stay ignorant, then that is your problem.

Yeah?  I was just reading where one of those solid, irrefutable science theories just fell by the wayside when another one superseded it.   Now in a growing number of scientist minds Dinosaurs are found out to actually be warm blooded  or that's what the article was proposing.  Regarding books the same could be said about the Bible, solid, irrefutable word of God and just as you dogmatically believe this book is infallible so to many believers feel that the Bible is.  It all depends on who you ask.  

 

So now we are starting to see where your belief/faith lies.  Part of it relies upon "The Greatest Show on Earth".  Actually I think that phrase was also used to refer to the Ringling Brother's Circus Show .. show as in entertainment value.  Never know they could be related for I believe Ringling Brothers made extensive use of monkeys also.

The notion that late-era dinosaurs were warm-blooded is nothing new.  It's been speculated for decades, on solid evidence.  This is not news.  After all, modern day dinosaurs, the birds, are warm-blooded.

 

 

Nothing Dawkins has ever written is infallible, nor would Dawkins himself claim it to be so.  He'd be the first to appreciate an advancement of knowledge that rendered his current state of the art knowledge moot.  If you read "The God Delusion" you'd know this.

 

Science changes, it builds upon itself, it improves itself, it contains no dogma.  These are a few of the reasons why science and reason is superior to religion.

 

Can't you see it, man?  Can you really not see this?

Yes, science changes because mankind is learning more about God's Creation.   "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1) -- including all the sciences and all the laws governing those sciences.  Then, He let it lay there waiting for the "more brilliant than God" atheists to find.

 

You see, that is one of the major differences between science and the Bible.  Science changes as man's knowledge grows or as his societal norms change.  The Bible never changes.  God "a u t h ored" it once; and never saw reason to change it.   That is one of the anchors of our faith -- God never changes.  He was, is, and always will be -- our God, perfect in all ways.   And, one day, we will be with Him face to face.   I really would love to see you join us.   Care to give Him a try?

Yes NSNS. Instead of just putting people on Earth as we are today, bill's god thought it would be fun to make mankind "work for it". AND after he makes mankind work for it, he's going to take them away from it to some creepy place in the clouds and raise some hell on Earth to punish the non-believers in as gruesome a way as can be imagined. Think of it NSNS, you can float around on a cloud and look down and see people being tortured, some whose only "crime" was not believing in bill's god. Irony accepted, the bottom line is that it's not love.  Christianity and Islam are religions of hatred and bigotry.

I know very little about Islam, so I'll take your word on it.  The principles of Christianity are the polar opposite of the principles of hate and bigotry.  Unfortunately, there is a small but vocal group of self-proclaimed "Christians" who twist the message of Christ to one of hate and bigotry.  Please don't lump all Christians with the fundamentalist wackos.  You are smarter than that.

Only hateful religions would threaten nonbelievers with everlasting torment.  No human being, except perhaps Jesus and Mohammed, has ever been so cruel.

Both of these religions disparage those who do not accept them.  The blessings of love only apply to their own.  They threaten them with Hell.  This is hatred and bigotry defined.

 

The 'love' that Jesus and Mohammed pursued was directed to those who agreed with them.  And none other.  Scorn, ****ation, and hellfire await those who do not accept their "love".  What sort of monsters were they?  What sort of horrible demons were the prophets of the Old Testament who practiced genocide, murder, slavery, rape, child-murder, filocide, mysogeny, and torture in the name of a loving, generous god?

 

They are, at best, the vicious recountings of the barbaric values of primitive tribesmen.  It is to the discredit of modern humanity that such traditions exist in any fashion other than myths in dusty anthropology textbooks.

There is a core underlying reason in deeps past that has altered his genetic makeup to a point they will be inherited if he has children. If not he will be responsible for environmentally induced changes on others.

Genes that might otherwise be prompted to allow for a belief in God are suppressed and less desirable decisions are the final outcome.

Hi, Bill.  I would never exclude you.  I am so sorry that you thought that.  I wish you had sent me an email.  I would have made sure it was handled.  I originally had it set to automatic.  After registering, all you had to do was click the "ON" button at the top and sign in to post.  I have it viewable to all & I think this threw some folks off; they thought they were already signed in.  Now it's set where you click on a link in the automatic email sent to the member's email address.  I'm not sure which way it was set when you registered.  I've never had it set to where I had to choose whether or not to let someone in because all are welcome there.

 

Since Buff chose to bring this up....I did not exclude Buff, welcomed him as a matter of fact.  He was given numerous warnings.  I even said I was logging out and hoped he'd have anything deleted that might get him banned when I returned, but he instead chose to make matters worse.  This left me with no choice but to do exactly as I said I'd do if he did not stop breaking the few simple rules we have there.  His own actions, for which he alone is responsible, got him banned.  I would have preferred he do the adult thing and simply treat others with the same respect he would like to be treated.

Simply because the average person cannot afford my services., The difference between me and you is I knower my place when dealing with the wealthy. Every time the atheistic men over there made some little ****ty comment it was a race between you two to claim, subtly to the author, objectivity. The lesabean character was assured she was welcome and an alternate lifestyle was of no concern and her avatar was well received. If you are the saint you want everyone to think you are you wouldn’t be on these forums flirting with the appearance of evil and certainly not hubbing up with individuals who have demonstrated they hate the thought of Jesus. To justify what you are doing is beyond me. If my wife was running a forum and associating with these blasphemers I would put a stop to it. Some of the things I do are simply to gauge reaction by individuals. It’s become like ****-ants in a jar; you are very predictable. Joy you are a spoiled brat and use religion as an excuse to get your attention.

 

I’ll bet you are a sight when you enter that church building. My suggestion is to humble yourself and respect your husband by getting out of the forum business. By the way Joy, if you are looking for something to occupy your mind constructively, research the individual in my AVATAR. He is an atheist but not the species you find on here. Get yourself a pen and a thick notepad and get a good dose of his genius. You more than likely will come out a different person.

Rram, you keep projecting yourself onto others.  You like to pretend you are something you are not, but most of us are exactly who we say we are.  I have never claimed to be what you say.  I am just a sinner saved by grace.  I know my shortcomings and do not try to hide them.  Other people are kind to me and respect me because I am kind to them and respect them.  That's how it works.

 

It's hard to take your actions personally because you treat everyone with the same callous disregard.  That's why nobody believes you, because you've treated them that way as well.

 

Just so you know, I never had a problem with TNT.  I liked her because she is who she says she is regardless of other people's opinions.  I asked to be removed as Admin based on your actions.  You excluding DixieChik, who got along with everyone including TNT, while INcluding two of the biggest trouble makers at TD Forums at the time.  I did not want to be associated with that. I wasn't angry and explained to the forum why I asked to be removed.  Then you had a cussing fit and threw most of us off your forum simply for thinking this was an unfair move on your part.  You seem to have trouble remembering any instance where you are at fault, don't you?  Nah, you remember.

 

You got yourself banned at my forum by your own actions...we tried to avoid banning you, warned you, left & came back later in the hope you'd remove posts that broke the rules, but you again chose poorly and gave me no choice but to do exactly as the rules state.  You keep directing your anger over that at me when it is yourself with whom you should be angry.

 

Your lies are silly.  I know who I am, God knows who I am and we are fine as frog hair over here.  I do take great comfort in knowing that God knows who you are as well and nothing escapes his sight.  He's got my back and that is more than enough for me.

 

Please joy tell me what I said to get banned over there. Please!!!! And why are you over here trying to get me banned?
