Dangerous Times

"Capitalism" is not a form of government. It's an ecomonic system. It comes down to two types of government: representative or dictatorship. In a representative form of government, people can make decisions for themselves. In a dictatorial form, people are prohibited from doing so.

Our educational system is a dismal failure. Teaching revisionist history, situational ethics, and diversity has made it easier on educators, but has failed to produce people with critical thinking skills. People tend to get their opinions from TV, the internet, or other media. Without the lens of history and critical thinking skills, we lose the ability to understand the context of what's going on today.
