Didn't she have on her mask? Didn't it work? Didn't she 'socially distance'? Who is she claiming has it that gave it to her? Who refused the masks and mocked her? Can you be exposed on Wednesday and diagnosed on Monday or Tuesday? Maybe...but it sounds more like she and Bonnie had Covid  symptoms before Wednesday and went to the Capital anyway. Dems are the biggest jokes out there. It would be funny if they weren't so dangerous. There are people that will actually believe her! Sounds more like she and Bonnie are the super spreaders.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., announced she has tested positive for the coronavirus.

In doing so, she blasted some Republicans who were locked down with her during Wednesday's riot at the Capitol for not wearing masks.

She made her comments in an early Tuesday morning tweet.

"I just received a positive COVID-19 test result after being locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one," she wrote.

Jayapal's announcement came after Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-N.J., had disclosed on Monday she had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Word of Watson Coleman's positive test also came on Twitter.

She wrote: "Following the events of Wednesday, including sheltering with several colleagues who refused to wear masks, I decided to take a Covid test. I have tested positive."

Congress is using a faulty COVID-19 test to screen lawmakers, reports Politico.

The test, made by Curative, can have “false negative results,” the Food and Drug Administration said Monday.

“Risks to a patient of a false negative result include: delayed or lack of supportive treatment, lack of monitoring of infected individuals and their household or other close contacts for symptoms resulting in increased risk of spread of COVID-19 within the community, or other unintended adverse events,” the FDA wrote in a release.

The notice urged healthcare providers to consider having their patients get “re-tested” if they received a test from the company recently.

The Office of the Attending Physician at the White House has been offering the test since November to lawmakers, staffers and reporters on Capitol Hill.

Brian Monohan, the Capitol physician, in a memo to staffers obtained by Politico acknowledged the warnings.

“We expect to have additional information in the coming days from the FDA and our expert consultants with regard to any concerns about the ongoing use of this test for the Capitol community,” he wrote in it.
