And a joke.
I quit going there after the wait staff seemed to be more interested in showing favoritism to apparently known faces who came in long after I was sitting there waiting to be acknowledged. Some of the wait staff has very bad attitudes also. I wounder where that comes from?

No offense to you, but that would be the most boring episode ever. Chicken and black eyed peas out of a can? It's country cooking, but they're not innovative from what I've seen.

Most of the episodes I've seen show a place that offer something uniquely regional, over the top, or what claims to be the best at some niche. There was a burger place featured that made burgers from everything from elk to deer to gator. It was 2 guys from Germany, I believe, that opened a burger restaurant with just about every kind of meat, served with off the wall 'fixens'. That was interesting.

Basically, restrurant owners in our area are to complacent in what they serve. They are not going to do what it takes to compare to Diner, Drive-ins and Dives. I have suggested to the girls at Moulton Diner make it more like the diners shown on the show. Hopefully they will. This area needs a real Diner.

Moulton Diner??? Is that the place just off court square that Jamie Cooper reported on several years ago?? They made hamburgers like your grandma made, eggs, crackers or bread all worked into the ground beef and then deep fried.

That place would qualify.

No the place you're talking about is called Nesmith's. Its downtown the Moulton Diner is in a shopping center out on 157. I tried Moulton Diner once its overpriced for what you get IMO.
