(CNN) -- A Nebraska toddler who repeated a slew of profanities in an online video has been taken into child protective custody, Omaha police said Wednesday.

While authorities found nothing criminal in the video, officials from the Omaha police's Child Victim Unit and the Nebraska Child Protective Services took the infant and three other children into custody on Wednesday, the police department said on its Facebook page.

The joint investigation found safety concerns, the statement said.

CNN learned of development through Twitter.

In the video, the diapered child is bombarded with obscenities and racial slurs by the adults around him.

The African-American toddler knocks down a chair and gives nearly as good as he gets, responding to some of the comments with an upraised middle finger and telling one of the adults at one point, "Shut up, *****." The adults laugh and prompt him to repeat other crudities.

Just another day on the Internet -- until the police union in Omaha, Nebraska, posted the clip on its website to highlight what it called the "cycle of violence and thuggery" the community faces.

It's amazing what some "adults" consider funny or OK for young kids. Google "Little kids twerking". I still remember the two little girls who loved nicki minaj and sang her songs. Very inappropriate (filthy) songs for kids their age, but they were belting them out, and instead of mom being upset, she loved it, they got on TV, and got to meet their idol in person. The audience applauded their approval. Talking 6 years and younger kids here. Look at the "beauty pageants" for kids. All of this mess is a pedophile's dream come true. For some people, these kids are just toys and paychecks.

And of course the racism card is tossed.

Willie Hamilton, the executive director of Black Men United in Omaha, told the Los Angeles Times Thursday that he found the behavior of the adults in the video to be abusive and appalling, and said there could be no excuse for it. He said it was also inappropriate for the police union to post it, and he said that when the video was first posted the child's face was fully visible and identifiable. (Versions of the video currently being circulated show the child's face blurred out.)

"The Omaha Police Officers Assn. cross the line by doing that," he said. "It was insensitive and I believe it to be racist."

The mother of this toddler being coached to swear up a storm on this video is only 16-years-old. Basically the video depicted kids coaching a toddler to say these vile things.

Mom is 16, the toddler is 2? 3? So she was 13 or younger when she got pregnant? As some asked, where is the dad and if he isn't in jail for statutory rape, why not?

An 18-month-old was ejected from a car during a high speed chase in Lubbock, Texas yesterday. The child’s parents both under 18, were running from the authorities after robbing a woman a gunpoint. The couple lost control of the vehicle and the child was tossed out of the vehicle when it flipped. Poor baby! The child only suffer minor injuries.
