Below is a link to a lengthy list of authentic quotations from notable Mormons, including some who held the office of the Presidency of the Mormon cult. These are actual things said by these leaders. Anyone who reads this list and still believes in the authenticity of Mormonism needs serious psychological counselling:

Hi Beter,

Here is a URL link to the full text of the Mormon Catechism: Gospel Principles:

http://lds.org/library/display...45,11-1-13-1,00.html

Click on Chapter 1 -- Our Father in Heaven -- and this is what you will find:

Because we are made in his image (see Moses 6:9), we know that God has a body that looks like ours. His eternal spirit is housed in a tangible body of flesh and bones (see D&C 130:22). God's body, however, is perfected and glorified, with a glory beyond all description.

This is an official Mormon document used for teaching. Proof from the Mormon church that the Mormon religion is a cult religon.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

First of all Old Man(Bill),

The Christian Bible(King James Version),
the one we(members of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints), uses Genises chapter 1-
verses 26 and 27, it states that both man and woman were made in his image of his likeness.
pretty plain to me. Also when Christ Body was reserected, what you think reserection means.
How could His Disiples have touched His Body and put their hands in His healed wounds and scars if He had not had a Body of Flesh and Bones??? You my dear Old Man have again stumbled. Thank you for refering people to our
Church web sight. Just Google or search
lds.org everything is there(all of our beleifes). Every Scripture every truth.

Have a Nice Day,
Love Skippy
P.S. Again I ask Bill, you really beleive there was no rain before Noah?????
Man/Human is indeed a complicated creation/creature however I cannot agree with using Genesis 1:26 and making this application in a physical way. The King James is but one translation of Scriptures that looks back to the original manuscripts. There are many other translations and one does not hold any more authentication than another for they were all translated by groups of dedicated scholars.

Genesis 1:26 (NASB) 26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image , according to Our likeness ; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Note in the above scripture it also says, speaking for God, in essence speaking the words directed by God, it's spoken in the Plural as in more than one. God said "make man in Our Image, according to Our likeness" why would ONE God make such a statement?

I personally believe that God gives us plenty of clues to this. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and man is Flesh (body, Mental (mind) and Spirit (soul). Man/Woman/Human is not just one dimensional not just flesh but also an inner spirit. God dwells in the Spiritual realmm yet Jesus Christ was God in Human Flesh but not human, not with the inherent curses or problems that come with a fleshly nature.

Galatians 5 also gives us additional information as to attributes of God and more specifically how a person's direction changes with the dwelling of God's Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:19-25 (NASB) 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

To say that the image/likeliness of God is a direct physical attribute is not only very restrictive but I do not believe that the scripture supports this.

Anyone who believes in the authenticity of any religion needs serious psychological counseling. All religions are cults.
