This looks like a nice place to stay for someone visiting here. When I was in High School I used to live near this place. I never thought it would be somewhere people would want to come and visit.

It is gorgeous!! My cousin stayed there when she and her Mom came from Rhode Island, they absolutely LOVED it, and they said the owners were the most gracious people they had ever met.

Gee, I hope the bread&breakfest will do ok, Its funny how many have never been inside the Alabama music hall of fame or Helen Keller's birthplace.

Been to both...Helen Keller's about six or seven times.

Thats good charger! I wish more like yourself would go and spead the word, what we have to offer right here. plus the money coming in will help the shoals!
Psst... Pba.. it's bed and Breakfast Wink

I've never been to the inn you speak about, but some of my relatives have when they were visiting. They seemed to have liked it pretty well. Smiler

As for going to Ivy Green and to the Hall of Fame, I don't know where ya'll went to school at, but at Muscle Shoals, through elementary to High School, went to both at least 3 times. Thats at least from what I remember. Both very good places to visit, too.

I do all that I can to spread the word. We are holding our bi-annual site meet in Florence this year, which will bring in several people from all around the states, methinks. Smiler

What are ya doing to help things, PBA?

I had no idea it was there.Looks and sounds 1st rate. Much nicer than a b&b I stayed at in Estes Park Co. And I thought it was nice. Throw in the southern friendlyness and I just may take a weekend vacation and save the gas. Plus do a little tour of places I haven't visited in years. Ivy Green ,Popes tavern, the Indian mound. When I start thinking about it,there are so many things I have forgotten about it really makes me think.

Iam working on doing more than I have in the pass.I have been some what lack. tell me more about this bi-annual site meet please and what it is about. Thanks!
It's the site I help admin and make graphics for. Smiler I don't think you would like it much. It has very little really to do with the news/or issues you guys post.

It's a Pg/G-rated discussion/chat/paranormal website (more chat than anything else) for the most part. We have over 60,000 members, and every year there is a get together, bi-annually in Alabama, and bi-annually in Oregon. This year, myself and another Admin. that lives in Alabama are the organizing admins for it. Big Grin

Of course though, not all 60k people are going to be there, just those that can afford to come. Smiler

That's all I'm really going to say on it though, because as an admin at my site, we don't really like 'advertizing' about other discussion sites. So out of respect for the admins here, I'll do the same by not talking about it too much. Big Grin
