Florence police to have driver's license checkpoint

The Florence Police Department announced it will conduct a driver's license checkpoint starting at 8:30 a.m. today on Royal Avenue next to the tennis courts.

The checkpoint will continue until 11:30 a.m.

Drivers are urged to proceed along Royal Avenue with caution.
