The Unpardonable Sin?  (against the newsgroup/mods ... that is?)

actually I think I missed all that drama so I can't really say I know what actually happened or the line that was crossed but I sense it has something to do with two specific members on this board and when spilled over the mods got involved and then the mods were underwhelmed and took action based upon some personal interaction between the mods and various, unsaid, members of this forum.   Although I'm not surprised there was some chastisement I was surprised it was permanent baring from the forum altogether.

How long were you gone? I know it's been a bit, but did you miss the 'big ban'? Too, where is Robustus? I always enjoyed his posts.

Bill is back under a different name, isn't it.

First of all, I changed the color of your font cause the it was hard to read.

For a long time, Bill lied about me, turned everything I said around into something I didn't say & claimed several times that I developed a relationship with the local TD Forum moderators & especially with what he calls "the new TimesDaily Publisher/Forums Moderator, that he said has a "atheist-leaning attitude" & has told several people that I was finally able to have him banned. That is a huge lie! As much as I would love to take credit for it, it was not me & I have no idea who it was. I don't care who it was, I'm just glad the ole fool is gone!

As far as your being surprised he was permanently banned from the forum altogether, you must not be aware of all the running down of the Moderators & the TD Editor he was doing. Anyone that gets on here, talks about them & calls them names the way he did, is just asking to be banned.

Before you defend him to much, you're also one of the people on this forum that he's running down on his FB page.

I don't know if you've noticed but there's new people on this forum posting & others that left because of Bill that's back. The forum has been a much better discussion board since his "demise"..

Yes, my good friend DF is famous, both in NW Alabama and in his adopted home state. He is a celebrated ferret wrangler and also widely known for his philanthropic work with a group of Minnesota orphans. He is also well connected in the Shoals, so be gentle with him.

This is a good account from semi of the billiee nonsaga. The things he said

about and to the TD itself is a surprise billiee isn't in a civil court case.

Please understand, I don't seek to defend Bill's actions for I am not.  I also don't know what all went on between the mods and Bill but I had warned Bill before and suggested things that I felt would make him a better forum neighbor but, as you know, they all were ignored. 

I assume Bill got what he deserved for everything I've seen indicates that the moderators are fair with everyone, including Bill

As for the color, my apologies, I'll try and remember that in the future.

I am still waiting on the picture of the poor, starving orphan that I am supporting on your behalf........
