Sadly I have to go to Illinois soon. I try to stay away from places that don't want guns.  However don't have a choice on this trip.

So question (or thought) is if someone is in a place that post a sign "no guns" and something happens, are they libel.  After all by banning guns aren't they saying they will protect us?

am aware I can't carry in Illinois,   so are they liable if something happens?  since they are saying I can't carry.  I just thought it was a good question.  I do all I can not to go to places that don't want me to carry.
