Will Obama be labeled an Uncle Tom if he does not put some blacks in his cabinet?
Why can't he just put together a cabinet of competent individuals,as you stated in your first post? Who cares what their skin color is?
It is only a question, don't be so sensitive.
He's planning on adding a few Republicans, so I'm not sure about the competent part. 
I wonder how some of you would try to spin it if Sen Obama asked Sen McCain to be a member of his cabinet. Would he be a traitor to the Repubs like Powell was called?

I just wish McCain hadn't gotten so sleazy. The speech last night was like a different person. Why couldn't he have just been classy? And Ms. Moosey too?
Was it so hard to be civil or did they have to be vocal about every insane theory that popped into the campaign manager's head?
McCain (sans running mate) would be a great voice. He SHOULD be willing to work with Dems, but will he be too bitter now is the real tricky part.
I'm cool with it. I kind of hope he would & also Hillary. It could heal a LOT of wounds. And there would be someone for every one to support or at least admire.
