It is business as usual.

The supposed $2trillion in deficit reduction is based on projected increases, ie, the deficit is still going to increase every year, as will the national debt, just not as large an increase every year. 

FEDERAL TAX REVENUES HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE AVERAGE COLLECTION RATE OF 19% OF GDP OR THERE CAN BE NO ELIMINATION OF AN ANNUAL DEFICIT, VERY LESS THE IDEA OF A BALANCED BUDGET OR DEBT REDUCTION.
