The Capitol Police announced Thursday that no charges will be filed over the filming of a sex video in a Senate hearing room in December, saying there was no evidence of a crime being committed.

“For now, we are closing the investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding a sex video that was recorded inside the Hart Senate Office Building,” the Capitol Police said in a statement.

Capitol Police said that while the video likely violated congressional policy, the law enforcement agency found “no evidence that a crime was committed” and noted that they had consulted with federal and local prosecutors as well during the investigation.

According to Capitol Police, a congressional staffer – whom they did not identify– resigned from his position and “exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us.”

“Although the hearing room was not open to the public at the time, the Congressional staffer involved had access to the room,” Capitol Police said of the sex tape. “The two people of interest were not cooperative, nor were the elements of any of the possible crimes met.”

Desperation met stupidity on the corner of bad luck and despair, and the democratic party was born.

Donald  Trump made his  first  trip to  Moscow in 1988, it was the height of the  cold war.  Ronald Reagan was completing his final year as one of our strongest Presidents against Russia, had  promised  to  implement the  Star Wars program, causinng much panic in the USSR.  Thhe Soviets had very few  friends in the US in those days,  yet Donald and his Russian  speaking wife, had just  gone to our rival, and met with Gorbachev, and imediately upon returning to the US,  inexplicably starts calling NATO unnecessary, calling it a waste of money, while railing against Reagans foreign policy decisions but Americans (luckily) paid him no attention, but the Russians had found thheir  friend.   The truth about Donald Trump is out there, and most of his supporters and Trump himself wont be around when it eventually comes to light, but to know that ConMan fooled you guys, including  my father is the most unAmerican, saddest event of my life.   Im sorry yall rather fight Democrats than Russians, but theres a reason  Putin supports Trump.

Why did you feel the need to post his nationality and why does it matter to you? The fact is they felt fine doing what they did, then refused to cooperate with law enforcement and nothing happened to them.

His nationality is U.S. citizen.  What matters to me, and seemingly does to you, is that he abused his job.

BTW, no one ever has to cooperate with law enforcement. Certainly he should have lost his job, but he wasn't guilty of a crime unless he broke into the chambers or raped his companion.

You wanted to stir up something and you failed. He didn't cooperate, but there are things he could have faced charges for doing yet he walked. So, do you have something of substance to add to the discussion?

Bill Clinton went to Russia in 1969. People have gone to Russia for years and were going in the 1980s and before as tourists and exchange students, to study, and other reasons so what's your point in mentioning Trump's visit? We have no reason to fight Russia and the dem LIE saying if we don't support Ukraine then we support Russia could not be further from the truth. The truth is that we don't support either. We think our tax dollars would be better spent in the US for the things we desperately need to be done to save this country from the ones invading us now and the ones destroying us from within. One thing about dems, they have no shame at all. They will call Trump a con man while they support the biggest con man of them all, Biden, and the rest of the corrupt dem party. It's not that anyone had rather fight dems than Russians, it's that dems have become a bigger threat to the US than Russia or any other enemy of the US. The truth about Biden is already out there. He is corrupt, anti-American, criminal puppet suffering from dementia and he is another thing TVT won't allow to be listed, but that is a plus to democrats and just what they like in a "leader".

Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal

The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.
