Joe McGinniss's new book about Sarah Palin's alleged past indiscretions is currently a hot topic.  The Doonesbury cartoon's creator, Gary Trudeau, has created a strip that focuses on Palin's alleged one-nighter with basketball great Glen Rice.  Newspapers all over the country will be deciding whether to run this strip.  The link below describes the controversy in more detail.

If YOU were editor of a newspaper that carries Doonesbury, would you or would you not run this strip?

I yam what I yam and that's all I yam--but it is enough!

The guy is a sleaze and his book is full of rumors and BS.

Run the strip, then Palin can sue the papers that do.

In response to McGinniss's book, Todd Palin gave a statement to NBC saying that McGinniss "spent the last year interviewing marginal figures with an axe to grind in order to churn out a hit piece to satisfy his own creepy obsession with my wife."

"I'd ask the fathers and husbands of America to consider our privacy when one summer day I found this guy on the deck of the rental property, just 18 feet away next door to us, staring like a creep at my wife while she mowed the lawn in her shorts," Palin said.

I would have placed an armed guard on a sniper's tower next to the fence they built.  The guy is an old pervert.

Rice is a 'victim'?  LOL.

Rice is just an athlete, not normally publicly linked to such amoral activity as is the case with a politician.

Athletes are not immoral?

LOL, you really should not have gone there. This is only through 2010 and only the biggest.

The news that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is once again in trouble for his actions off the field got us thinking about what some of the most outlandish and popular sexcapades by athletes have been through the years.

Athletes have too found often been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, but only these 20 came out on top as having the most unbelievable, confusing, and sometimes wrong and illegal acts.

How much is a mans character worth?

Bout $2million, paid in 5 installments over 2 years...

Why sue Palin?  The guy who wrote the book either made it up, or if it is true, I doubt Rice was the 'victim'.

BTW, good dodge on the immoral athletes.

He can certainly sue over being used for the fetishes of a now famous politico.

Everything in that book is based on hearsay from UNNAMED sources. Now he was part of Sarah's fetishes? Sheesh.

Tell me ditto, how many conspiracy theories do you believe? NWO, Illuminati, Federal Reserves, 9/11 truthers, alien abductions, JFK?

Rice is quoted in the book, verifying the hook-up, and the reason for the hook-up..

In the book, McGinniss quotes Rice as confirming the one-night stand, according to The Enquirer.

The alleged encounter occurred less than a year before Palin eloped with her husband, Todd, the book says. Michigan played in the Great Alaska Shootout in November 1987.

Multiple efforts by Sporting News to get a comment from Rice have been unsuccessful.

There has been no confirmation from Rice, outside the book.
