AOC has burst on the scene being elected to a district in New York and because of the unseating of a popular Democratic Represenative there along with some of the "out there" statements she has made she has become a media darling. She is receiving all the Hollywood invitations and going places faster than most any first term elected Represenative gets to go. The question is ... Is she just the flavor of the moment, a media darling and waiting to flame out or is she the face of a "New" Democratic Party?
I have even heard that it could be possible that one of the 2020 candidates that have announced could consider her as a running mate. Well I don't know whether or not to say we've had worse but one thing is for sure she isn't going away anytime soon and the more the media makes of her the more she gets a platform. It's also evident that she's young enough to allow all this to go to her head and it appears she's buying into that she's more than she really is.
Many think she's luny and others think she's long overdue but I just think she's dangerous given her political views and statements that she has made so far. For most Republicans, from what I can gather, they view her as a gift.
