I'm glad Anwar al-Awlaki is dead but don't you think it's a little ironic that the same people who took issue with Gitmo and waterboarding a handful of enemy combatants won't bat a eye at the assassination of 2 American citizens without due process?    Obama hasn't closed Gitmo, hasn't tried the terrorists, he's used Bush era legal arguments, and extended key provisions of the patriot act. Obama has let the dogs loose at the CIA. I think some people on the left owe Bush an apology.  It looks like it all was about party politics and not principle.  We should have known that since you can't get principle from some loser at a coffee shop.

Ironic? No.  Par for the course...yes.

Regardless of your political stripes, what has happened since Obama took office should prove there is not a dime's worth of difference between republicans and democrats.  As Judge Napolitano has pointed out, we have two wings of one party...the big government party.

Unfortunately with all the back slapping and congratulating coming from so-called constitutional tea-party types, they are showing themselves just as hypocritical as the Obama administration.

Look Obama was just trying to help a brother out.  You got it all wrong.  One minute this guy was living in squalor, making rambling anit-American hate speech on a 10 year old Compaq computer in a goat cave in the mountains......the next minute the guy is living in Paradise with 70 virgins....all on our dollar.  Glad to see my tax money is going to some good......

No irony there, and plenty of eye-batting.Just knee-jerkitude inaccuracy on your misinformed part!   The issue has been and continues to be discussed.  You have somehow missed it.  I suggest you look somewhere other than Fox and World Net Daily.  Here are just a few of the many media reports on this::
