Both Jack's Hamburgers and Burger King are building new restaurants/locations in Florence near the Ricks BBQ by the Killen Bridge. These new locations will pick up traffic coming in from Tennessee in Hwy 43 as well as Killen traffic and east Florence. The location of the new Jacks is going to be in front of Senator's Buses and across the street from the new Dollar General location (Old Fred's) at the intersection of Harris Drive and Florence Blvd and Burger King is going to be immediately adjacent to the Rick's BBQ parking lot besides Rick's BBQ on the same side of the street near Sky Park Road.
Burger King started breaking ground first but have a lot more ground work to do whereas Jacks won't have as much ground work to do so both restaurants should be open somewhere around September of this year unless they really get on the ball and work a miracle because it usually takes around 6 months or so to finish a restaurant once they start it so given the work going on now it might even be October or November before they start serving at those locations. Wonder who will be the next venturing out to around the new AG center location?
