After a feckless response for months to Russia’s threats to Ukraine, Joe Biden was out with a statement Wednesday night after Vladimir Putin started the wider invasion of Ukraine, hitting the country in multiple spots.
‘President Putin has chosen a premeditated war that will bring a catastrophic loss of life and human suffering,’ Biden said in a statement Wednesday night.
‘Russia alone is responsible for the death and destruction this attack will bring, and the United States and its Allies and partners will respond in a united and decisive way. The world will hold Russia accountable.’
So today, they’re focused on what might effectively deal with this situation and discourage others from making such moves in the future, right?
Not exactly. It’s the Administration of Sleepy Joe, the guy whose actions are leading to a greater war with his weakness. What are they saying today? Let’s listen to John Kerry, Biden’s ‘climate czar.’ This could distract the world from the climate crisis, he said, and have massive emissions consequences as a result of the invasion and fighting.
“I hope President Putin will help us with respect to what we need to do to stay on track with the climate,” Kerry said.
This is their priority. People are being killed, Ukraine is being taken over by Russia, other countries may be on the move with their ambitions, and this is what they are thinking about? It’s exactly because of this kind of stupidity that Vladimir Putin is moving now; he knows what wretched response he will get from these folks. It’s because of this that they killed our energy independence and indeed, elevated Russia’s strength in the oil market. As Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said, no one has been a better friend to Putin than Joe Biden. What do they think this is showing to China? Meanwhile let’s not talk about Kerry’s private plane he takes to environmental conferences.
But, this is how the elite like Kerry think. It’s not going to hurt him or affect him in any way, while it’s going to hurt Americans at the pump and cause inflation to soar even more — in addition to all the harm and people who are going to get killed now in Ukraine. It’s going to make Putin have other thoughts that could fully implicate us under treaties. But yeah, let’s ask if Putin is going to think about the climate.
