Democrats laughed at the Tina Fey character then elected someone as dumb as the character Tina played.  To destroy Palin, they launched 25 character assassinating charges against her, which, by Alaskan state law must be investigated,  The time to refute their charges destroyed her governorship and nearly bankrupted her family, requiring her to resign, Of the 25 charges, 24 were proven to be false.  If,conservatives treated liberals in such a fashion, there would blood.

Dogs raising a ruckus, wakes us up, and outside, getting ready to climb up on the deck is a visitor that looks like this one below. He/she? really was a cutie, but was huge too. I had no idea they grew as large as the visitor we had. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but with the lights coming on, humans moving around, the dogs tearing at the back door only 10 feet away, our visitor thought better of coming up on the deck and ambled away before I could get a pic. There was nothing for it to enjoy on the deck anyway.

Where have I ever called someone gay as an indictment?  I  use epithets like Democrat, Liberal and progressive.

DH, I am genuinely curious.  I grew up during the hey-day of what we now call "old school Southern Democrat" which was just a euphuism for "voting straight ticket" also known as a "Yellow Dog Democrat."

The question I'm asking is ... I can see where there might be some OSSD's on the ballot in local elections, but who do you vote for on the state and national levels since there isn't a single OSSD on the ballot?

He is one of the worst, that's true. Everyday they show their hypocrisy. Palin has driven them crazy, and I think it's because she's so attractive and they hate themselves for lusting after her.

My grandmother said all women were to be considered ladies, until they  proved themselves otherwise.  Always considered it a worthy guideline.  However, grand once referred to a female as "that woman."  I teased her, and said. , "isn't she a lady.?"  She replied, "she has proven herself otherwise."  I was smart enough not to continue that conversation.  

My wife and both my daughters love and respect me very much. They are all smart enough to know a b*tch when they see one and I'm sure all would agree with me that best most certainly is a b*tch.

No trick or treaters here, second year in a row they've been rained out.

I've always lived in the woods. Never had trick or treaters. 

We live a mile down a dirt road, have never had any either. Sounds like a lot of the kids go to these trunk or treats now a days.

Animals in costumes or people clothes have always cracked me up, the dogs don't seem to be especially fond of it.

We usually have over a couple of hundred.

Holy cow, best! How much candy do you have to get?

About three packages that have 240 or so pieces , and a back up package of something hubby likes in case we don't need it and 'get stuck' with it, like double bubble gum.
