You wrote: First, let me suggest that you are confusing the definition of the sin -- with the punishment for the sin.

And then you went on and on about homosexuals, which I asked nothing about.

Crusty, my Friend,

Actually, you did.  What is the first thought that comes to most folks' mind when Leviticus is mentioned?   The homosexual lifestyle!

I honestly doubt that.  When people talk about Leviticus, the first thing that comes to my mind is pork.  Wonderful, delicious pork.

For you it appears that when people talk about Leviticus, the first thing that comes to your mind is gay love.  Wonderful,  delicious gay love.

LOL.  Get your mind out of the gutter Johhny.

These two things never mattered to him either.

"But I say to you, any man who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”

********************************

The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[c]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

Well, Crusty, my Friend,

It did not take you, and your atheist partner, long to attempt to detract from the good discussion you and I began.

To be quite honest, I am not surprised -- for I do not believe you have the courage to stay in a discussion where true Biblical truths are being shared.  It seems that the Bible, God's Written Word, scares the pedoodle out of you -- and you run or start a "spitting contest" in your attempt to avoid the light of God's Word shining on you.   Whatever!

Continue to play your childish game with other atheists and non-believers.  But, if you are not afraid to have an honest discussion of God's Word -- I will be waiting in our Bible Study discussion.

Bless your trembling little heart!

Bill

No, Bill, you detracted from the discussion.  That is why I moved this to here.  Notice, over in the other discussion that you are the one that is harping on homosexuality, not me.  I have posed no questions about it, and will not do so in that thread.

But you just have to keep going on and on about it.

Bless your gay little heart.

LOL Crusty! What took ya so long? I thought BeeG's inclinations were common knowledge.

Somebody says Leviticus to me and I think 19:28

New International Version
"Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD."

Then I look around at all the christians I see who all have images of the white, western European Jesus, crosses, memoriams, and even a couple morons who actually have Leviticus 20:13 tattooed on them:

  • "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." (ESV)

THAT combination of dingbat GZ bugf00kery dang near made ma head a-splode.

Even more ironic is a christian wearing a YOLO shirt..

*BOOM*

Uh....somebody correct me if I'm wrong...but.....isn't one of the basic tenets of the christian faith.......that a person lives......uh......MORE than once???!!!???
