Yeah my wife, myself, my two neices and my nephew went and watched it on Saturday. My wife was bawling as was one of my neices, and I admit, I was very choked up. Any dog lover can't watch it and not be emotional. The whole theater was filled except for possibly two seats and I bet 85% of the people were crying, some just flat out boo hooing, but a very good movie nonetheless.
Absolutely loved the book! As for young children watching it - I can remember watching Disney animal movies as a kid that left us squalling but I don't think it left permanent scars. Each person would have to judge for their children as they know them best. Real tenderhearted kids could be truly upset with a tear jerker movie as this seems to be but it could also be a teachable moment about the reality of life/death, losing a pet.

Has anyone seen Benjamin Button yet?
My kiddo has gone to see it tonight,
so I'll know just how good it is very soon!!

F.Y.I~ My 14 year old daughter said Benjamin Button was indeed amazing!!!! A Must See!!
I saw Old Yeller when I was 7 and cried like a baby. All my trials and problems in adult life are a direct result of being introduced to death as an actual part of life by this movie, how dare my parents allow the very subject of death enter my life! i would have been a much more balanced, productive person had there been rap music for me to listen to and video games of blowing everything up and killing everything.

I have to say I think the movie Marley&ME was a great movie, but then i am still warped,a great see for adults only.
Why hasn't this movie been rated R,,,I think we should form a protest.
