Holy Huckster Huckabee was on The Daily Show recently. He lamented the degradation of popular culture, citing Beyonce's suggestive music as being totally unsuitable for kids, especially young girls. John Stewart then played a video of the washed-up rocker and noted game law violator, Ted Nugent, singing his signature song, "Cat Scratch Fever,"the lyrics of which are every bit as raunchy as anything Beyonce has produced. It turns out that this performance was recently on the Huckabee TV show on Fox News and guess who was grinnin' big and playing backup for Nugent on his big bass gee-tar? You got it, the huckster himself!
Huckabee tried to rationalize this rank hypocrisy by "splainin' that the song (Cat Scratch Fever) is an "adult" song, but Stewart pointed out that the Huckabee show is telecast at an hour when children are up and could be watching or listening. And, hey, besides all that isn't it amazing that a righteous ordained Southern Baptist preacher like Huckabee would find those Cat Scratch lyrics anywhere near appropriate for the ears of decent adults?

Huckabee finds concord with the raunchy TedNugent on such issues as gun rights, Nugent's main obsession, but apparently does not share enough common ground with Beyonce to feel warmly enough toward her to wink at her raunchiness.
