If the creation of 200 jobs in Cullman creates 1.7 million per year in increase revenue for the local and service business, just think what 1400 new jobs will create, but no some people don't want to sacrifice as little as 75 cents per $100 the price of a candy bar to see that we move foward and that our children has a good chance at a some good jobs, because of their self interest and greedy pride. http://www.cullmantimes.com/homepage/local_story_045003...ord=leadpicturestory

I am SO glad you said that!!!!

Instead of the gov't allowing gas prices to sky rocket ONCE AGAIN, they should be encouraging people to SPEND their money... and to build their towns, and people to BUY what they need for their children.

INSTEAD, we have a GREEDY gov't that controls the Oil prices to the point ot even allowing the weather to factor in to what we are paying, they play with those prices every single hour of every single day.... just for their extra money... it is GREED!!!!

I watched a Gas Station go from 1.92 to 2.14 in about 3 weeks... COLD SPELL!!!

I literally SAW with my own eyes that same station change their prices SIX times in about an 8 hour period!!!!!

Now, that Gas in their tanks didnt fluxuate as they were refilling them... So what is up with that???????????

$$$$$$$$$$ GEEED $$$$$$$$$$
Bluesman, I must respectifully disagree with you. The people of this area have continued to vote against policies which would help bring in more prosperity at the expense of those who want to pay for it. The lottery for one , and Sunday alcohol sales (in Colbert Co.) for example. I resent paying any more tax on anything until this area can come to grips with reality. Continueing to add taxes on us to throw down some rat hole dosn't excite me. THey just a couple of years ago added 2 cents /gallon to our gas to build the Mariott, and give it all to Bronner. Why not let some of the profits from all that go to recruting business.
KS, I also have seen the price of gas change 3 or 4 times a day at Walmart. Amazing, BUT, we keep buying it.
I'm looking forward to warm weather so I can get back to riding my Harley. It gets 40-50 mpg, and is a lot more fun than the car.

VERY WELL SAID!!!!

And yes, we keep buying Gas, we HAVE to so we can work, ya know? Don't you think the gov't knows that? They ALWAYS manage to strike out during our weaknesses... As IF our Power bills, Natural GAS bills are not high enough during this time!!!

Like I said, that truck that put the gasoline into their tanks did NOT change their prices five or six times during the time they were filling the tanks!!!!! So, like I said, WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THIS???

I do NOT believe in coincidences.
