Just like Biden/Harris and other democrats telling people to wear masks when they rarely ever wear them or 'socially distance'.

Official urges you to 'stay home,' while she brags of her own Christmas NOT at home

A North Carolina county official who told citizens to “stay home” for the holidays announced during the same press conference that she plans to spend Christmas with people outside of her own household. “For this holiday season, we ask that you stay home and only be around those who you live with,” Mecklenburg County Manager Dena Diorio (D) said during a Monday press conference. “Our data shows that COVID is still very widespread in our community, and holidays and holiday gatherings are some of the most dangerous places to be. So please, stay home, and stay safe.”

“I will be traveling by car to Durham, North Carolina to see some close family,” Diorio said in response to a reporter’s question about how Diorio would spend the holidays.

“Small group,” she added.

Another reporter questioned Diorio further on this point, asking, “Isn’t that what we are not supposed to be doing?”

“I know who the family is and I know where they spend their time, so I feel comfortable making that trip,” Diorio responded. “It’s two people in a household. It’s not a group, it’s a very small number of people and I feel very confident about their safety. So if I did not feel comfortable I would not go.”

“So do you recommend that for everyone,” the reporter asked. “To feel comfortable with what their family members are doing that they don’t live with?” “I’m making a personal decision based on information that I have,” Diorio said. “That’s the decision that I’ve made, and I think everybody needs to do the same.” Diorio did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo, a Democrat, is under fire after she was seen dining out without a mask – just days after warning residents to remain at home due to the coronavirus surge.

According to ABC 6, she was photographed at Barnaby’s Public House in Providence for a wine and paint night on Dec. 11.

Just four days earlier, she had tweeted: “It’s week two of our pause. I know it's been hard, but I want to thank every Rhode Islander who's following our guidance. Please, stay home except for essential activities & wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with. Together, we can turn our case numbers around.”

ABC 6 reported that many people pointed out that Raimondo wasn’t wearing a mask in the photograph.

“Shame on you Gina,” Susan Goodman, from Providence, said. “She shouldn’t even be at an event like that. You can drink wine at home. I’m an experienced wine drinker Gina, do it at home.”

A New York Democratic executive from Erie County has come under scrutiny after being accused of apparently playing hockey with a handful of people at a rink, despite the fact that a nearby rink was closed due to COVID-19 concerns for hosting scrimmages. Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw, a Republican, posted a video that allegedly shows Mark Poloncarz (in all black) shooting around on a hockey rink with up to 14 others. Poloncarz previously said that he skated alone on the rink in a Twitter post, before a group skate began.

Mychajliw said he is bothered by the hypocrisy of Poloncarz failing to follow coronavirus-related restrictions, intended to help prevent the spread of the virus, at a time when kids are unable to take to the ice.

"I’m thrilled we can begin the discussion on letting kids play hockey, the same way Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz and his ‘mates’ do," Mychajliw said in a statement. "I think it’s wonderful Mark Poloncarz plays hockey, shoots the puck around, while his friends engage in scrimmages. Kids and youth leagues should be able to do the same. My issue: political hypocrisy. Rules for thee, but not for me."

Mychajliw went on to say that the Erie County Executive’s Health Department shut down "Holiday Twin Rinks" for having scrimmages – but the one that Poloncarz played at appears to have escaped the same fate.

A spokesperson for Poloncarz did not return Fox News’ request for comment.

Wineries and other businesses in 19 California counties have been ordered to shut down or restrict indoor operations to the public under new COVID-19 restrictions issued by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, but his winery isn’t one of them.

According to Fox26, Newsom’s revised order, issued Wednesday, impacts Fresno, Kern, Kings, Merced, and Tulare countries in the Central Valley, home to several wineries including Preamble Wine Co., makers of We The People Wine, the first brand strictly for conservatives.

Social media lights up with 'View' co-host tweeting 'everyone hates' the mayor

New York City dropped the ball again on New Year's Eve, but perhaps not as much as its mayor, Bill de Blasio did.

Critics are laying into the Big Apple's leader for dancing on national television while the rest of the city was told to stay inside and socially distance during the coronavirus pandemic.

Against the backdrop of a mostly empty Times Square, de Blasio and his wife, Chirlane McCray, danced on stage together at the famous landmark. Typically, it is packed with people doing the same on New Year's Eve.

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain tweeted: "You've always been basically the worst political in modern history - but shutting down the NYC but having your own private party in Times Square is really *chefs kiss* the most tone deaf thing I may have ever seen a Mayor do. Everyone hates you DeBlasio."

Television personality Andy Cohen, who was co-hosting a New Year's Eve program on CNN with Anderson Cooper, ripped into de Blasio on television.

Cooper drank a shot, then started gagging, apparently disgusted by the taste.

"That's how I felt when I saw Mayor De Blasio dancing just now," Cohen said. "I just don't need to see that at the beginning of 2021."

Cohen then became visibly angry, extending his arms and yelling: "Do something with this city! Honestly, get it together!"

A rep for de Blasio said the incident is, "not the first time I’ve heard a drunk person complain about someone’s dance moves."
