The ultra-extremist online web site WorldNetDaily (WND), headed by the  scheming propagandist weasel, Joseph Farah, has published an article making the totally bogus claim that Delta Airlines has entered into an agreement not to allow Jews to board its flights to Saudi Arabia. Here is a link to WND's outrageous article.

There is absolutely NO TRUTH to the article.  Here is a link to an article in The Economist's online pages that discloses the truth in the matter:

WND's headline reads as follows: "Delta adopts Saudi 'no-Jew' fly policy

Challenge to discrimination building as Congress, lawyers warned of plan"

The alleged discrimination is further reported--erroneously--by WND to have

"caught the attention of the American Center for Law and Justice," which is headed by Jay Sekulow, the well-knownChristian Nationist attorney.
Long ago I learned not to believe anything published in WND without independent verification from some re****ble source.
I suggest that others do the same, especially those who might be so deluded as to consider WND a reliable source.

Anything directly reported by WND must be researched, but this does have some root in fact.

If you try to fly from the US via Delta with connections to Saudi Arabia, you will be asked for their visa. If not in possession of a Saudi visa, you will not be allowed to board. Those with Israeli passports will not be allowed to board, because the Saudis do not recognize israel and will not give them a visa.

In the past, if you had an Israeli visa stamp on your US passport, they would deny emtry, as well.  When I visited Israel on business, I would stop in Cyprus and have the US consulate, paste onver that page, if I was scheduled to go to Saudi, next.  I'm unsure if this is still the case.

Shallow root, though, and not really pertinent to the matter at hand.

Irrespective of what you have posted, the fact is that WND asserted, in their erroneous article, that "Jews" would be forbidden to fly on Delta flights to Saudi Arabia. The TRUTH is that those of any nationality without a visa from Saudi Arabia would not be allowed to board. True, those with Israeli passports--whether Jewish, Palestinian, Hottentot, or otherwise--would not be allowed to board Delta flights to Saudi Arabia, but that has NOTHING to do with any kind of discrimination by Delta Airlines.  WND tried to stigmatize Delta and did so with no valid reason.   They owe Delta an apology and if they have any integrity, WND will print a correction in their little online fish wrapper.

The Saudis have no fear of Israel, as the USA as assured the Saudis that Israel will not interfere within Saudi borders, because of the influence of the Saudis with OPEC.

Lets just add up the number of civilians killed by the AFUS in the last 30 years.  You go first.  How many sovereign countries have we interfered with?  We shot down an Iranian passenger jet for no reason, lied about the circumstances, and then wonder why they hate us.  Our imperialist, nation building fiasco's are why we have to spend $800billion a year on AFUS.   We will blindly follow the course set by every previous superpower, right into irrelevance.  We are using Russian military advisers to plan our Astan operations, and wondering why its not going better.

The Navy issued false distress calls from a fictitious ship called the Stoval, to attract the Iranian boats and incite an incident becasue without provocation, the Iranians were content to just cruise around in their territorial waters while the USNavy watched.  The Vincennes was operating in Iranian waters, and the Navy lied to cover it up.  The Vincennes helo was operating in Iranian airspace and the Navy lied.  The Iranian airliner was operating in a commercial flight path and squawking a commair designation, all of which the Navy denied until it was obvious they couldnt hide it from the international media.

Sorry, no!  The Iranians were harassing oil tankers and container ships that passed thru the Persian Gulf.  The Persians claim most of the gulf.  Later, they took potshots at the Vincennes helicopters -- not a bright idea.

Because of the incident, the navy rethought its strategies and started building craft suitable for litorral combat.
