Does it show anything that hasn't already been seen?

Pucker:

It takes it a few minutes (even on cable) to load.
The footage is only 39 seconds long.
Shows a stunningly beautiful shot of Jacqueline Kennedy.
At the end, the shot pans up to the windows of the book depository – I found that rather odd.
'Twas a destressing day . . .

The film shows a clear glimpse of Kennedy and the first lady a few blocks from Dealey Plaza and roughly 90 seconds before the killing.
The assassination is not shown in the 40-second clip.
The secret service man riding behind Jackie Kennedy on the secret service stand on the car had squatted to a low position, 30 to 90 seconds before the shooting. ducking.

Repeatedly viewed, did not see Secret Service agent Clint Hill ducking. Did see that JFK was the victim of a bad tailor. His jacket is bunched up in back (knapsack bunching, as known in the trade). This may have caused the difference in alignment of bullet hole entering cloth and then body. JFK should have used Brooks Brothers (my favorite) or similar. A layer of Kevlar would have been in order, of course.

WHY the 'focus' on the Texas Book Repository IF this film was shot BEFORE JFK's assasination?

BTW....'kevlar' didn't exist in 1963.

They showed that clip on television a day or so ago, in its entirety, which wasn't too much since the man had to get back to work. Great picture of Jaquie though..

But, dogsoldier, you must have been reading MY mind when you commented here, because that is EXACTLY what I thought when looking at it... The repository was NOT an issue at that time, so WHY was it even on a film in some old guy's bottom dresser drawer for nearly 45 years???

If we live another 5+ years, the entire Kennedy Chronicles should be made public. THAT is one tidbit of history I would LOVE to know "THE Rest of the Story"...

I think there will be a lot of shock surrounding this incident...

I am WITH you on that bet!!!! There is NO way, I think they have actually forgotten just HOW many video's they have shown over the years, and of course, they (meaning the politicians) automatically think Americans are dummies... that we will "BUY" into anything as long as THEY say it's so!!! Roll Eyes
One book I read several years ago theorized that JFK was shot ACCIDENTALLY by a member of his USSS protection detail. The author 'claimed' that the USSS had recently acquired samples of the 'then-new' Colt AR15, later designated the M16, and that ONE of the USSS agents 'accidentlally' triggered a round off while 'adjusting the selector switch', the resulting round fired impacting in JFK's head.
OMG, Kindred and I agree on something.

I do not believe we are holding dead aliens in New Mexico, I do not believe the Bushes manipulated the presidential elections, I do not believe the Bildebergers or Trilateral Commission runs the global economy, I do not believe Bush or any other American plotted the attacks on 9-11, I do not believe in the vast array of conspiracy theories that are so easy to find.

I do not believe Lee Harvey Oswald squeezed off two perfect shots with that Mannichler-Carcano 6.5mm rifle at a moving target.

After the American people's love affair with government during WWII, the Kennedy assassination began the deep skeptism and cynicism about the federal government which flourishes today. Perhaps for good reason; if they lied about JFK, what else are they lying about?

Do any of you EVER remember them showing the film of Kennedy going forward pretty fast (maybe a bullet from the repository) and then, getting HIT from the front which blew a rather large 'clump' of his brain matter onto the trunk??? Then it shows Jacquie crawling back onto the trunk and retrieving it???

I cannot, for the life of me, think of any reasoning to NOW keep that film away from Americans...

On Discovery Health, some dude did a "re-enactment" of the events of those moments... one of those 'computer' enactments which isn't REAL people... he "DEDUCED" that Oswald fired the Bullet into Kennedy, bullet went all the way through his head, striking Connelly in the shoulder (connelly was sitting sort of sideways) then going to his leg, hitting a bone, going a different direction and out his pelvis... this man was showing how ONE SINGLE bullet could shoot TWO men 4-5 times... Think I bought it? Heck no, and further, there is no telling WHAT he got paid to make that so the Americans would BUY into the Oswald thing.

All of it is sickening!!!! Mad
THe 'bullet' in question was a 6.5MM 156 grain FMJRN bullet fired from an Italian Carcano carbine. It was shown to 'yaw' and 'tumble' (when fired into ballistic gelatin, a substance used by the military, LE forensics, etc to simulate human flesh), as real bullets often do when impacting soft tissue. Bullets rarely travel in a 'straight line' upon entering soft tissued-targets.

PERSONALLY, I believe the CIA 'did it' in retaliation for JFK's abandoning the CIA-trained Cuban rebels during the Bay of Pigs Invasion. The US Navy was SUPPOSED to provide cover and support for that operation, but at the last minute, JFK ordered them to back off.

Did ya ever suspect Johnson? Johnson, claiming to be a Democrat in Republican clothes flip-flopped way too much afterwards...

Some have even suspected Nixon or the OTHER Kennedy's...

I just would LOVE to know the whole story!!!
