Residents in the town limits of St.Florian and its police jurisdiction beware. Your town council and mayor have adopted a noise ordinance to keep things quite and limit the fun that could have been had there.

If you ride dirt bikes, four wheelers, shoot guns or have other hobbies that emit noise be prepared. All it takes is one pesky neighbor or resident within earshot to get you a warning or a fine/jail time. Please remember that just because you aren’t in the town limits this rule applies to you if you are in their jurisdiction. I would advise you to stop by town hall and ask for a copy of this ordinance to make sure every sound you make is in good standing with their rules.

Heh. Everybody better walk their vehicles through St. Florian then because if the traffic going by my house near White's Lake is any indication- Very few people in Lauderdale county own pickups with mufflers.

Apparently you can drive just a frame down the road in Alabama as long as the lights work and the tag's current.

Uhh...I believe those are "typical Yankees" whom have moved to the land of "milk and honey" but are handicapped by their belief that
The Dukes of Hazard was a REAL Southern documentary...and are just trying to "fit in" Big Grin

Lights dont have to work, as long as the suns still out.

You think its bad here, go to San Diego and LA. They have smog inspections, safety inspections, insurance inspections, etc etc. But they let cars from Mexico come across with NO taillights. I dont mean they dont work, I mean they aint there.....
