That's the nature of science -- constantly questioning and experimenting. Anyone who tells you something is settled science is a fool, has no idea of the scientific method, ignorant, stupid, a charlatan or sitting in the Oval Office.

So these equations indicate an universe of infinite age and finite size. My question for these guys would be: How do they explain the spectral red-shift of distant stars and galaxies that is easily explained with an expanding universe?
The way things go, some physicist will string together a few equations and we'll circle back to the steady state universe theory favored by Sir Fred Hoyle. That might last for a day or so til the next paper hits the journals.
