Who knows? It could be right. The sticky point is the variable speed of light, which seems to be constant over time.

I didn’t see the movie but the speed of light in the classical view is not variable.

Time slows near mass due to warped time space.

Any classical body at near the speed of light has infinite mass and for that reason does not exceed the speed of light.

One view is that the universe has at some point expanded faster than the speed of light and produces a horizon which we cannot see beyond.

Does this mean galaxies are violating the ultimate speed after all they are classical by their properties.

No. Imagine all galaxies painted on a balloon into which air is being pumped; the galaxies are farther apart due to expansion.

That is one analogy. Not a very good one because it collapses under certain other theories.
