Did the "liberal media" somehow lie to me about the numbers that were on my paychecks during Clinton's terms as President? Did they somehow intercept and alter my 401(k) statements to mislead me into thinking that the economy was good?

Are you suggesting that McCain is somehow an empty figurehead and that Palin is the puppetmistress that will be running the show? As far as I know, we can't vote for Palin; she's the toy that comes with the Happy Meal the Republicans are selling. (And lest anyone think I'm intentionally insulting the Republicans, let me assure you, I am. On the other hand, the Democrats aren't even offering a toy in their Happy Meal. The Democratic ticket is like opening your stocking on Christmas morning and finding an assignment for a 5000-word essay on the Industrial Revolution that's due the first day back at school in January.)

I find it interesting that you chose to say "when Obama wins" instead of "if Obama wins". Are you really a "dimocrat", pretending to be a good old True Republican Patriotic US American?

Yeah! It's all Clinton's fault, why can't those dimocrats see that. If Clinton hadn't left office with a surplus this whole thing wouldn't have started. He should have put us at least 5 trillion in debt so the Republiheroes could come in and balance the budget and give us a surplus, as I'm sure they would have. When we have Palin at the helm we'll all be so much better off. We can get the world to invest in Mooseburger stock and we'll have the strongest economy EVER!

Because of the dot com bubble economy, tax revenues increased and the US had a current surplus for several fiscay years in the Clinton administration. There was still a deficit for the budget from years past and the unfunded deficit represented by social security and medicare.

And so the system the Republican Patriots (which is, naturally, the only Real Kind of Patriot) have been bravely administering for the last 8 years... the one with a deficit "from years past" PLUS racking up record current-year deficits every year... that's better, right?
