The Obama State Department was knee deep in the fake Russia collusion hoax and the fake Steele dossier.

John Kerry’s team worked with the fake Russia dossier’s author, and shared his dossier with the FBI.  The State Department reported to President Obama.

John Solomon from the Hill reported a couple days ago that a State Department employee had evidence that the Steele dossier was a fraud before it was used by the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on candidate Trump –

Newly unearthed memos show a high-ranking government official who met with Steele in October 2016 determined some of the Donald Trump dirt that Steele was simultaneously digging up for the FBI and for Hillary Clinton’s campaign was inaccurate, and likely leaked to the media.

The concerns were flagged in a typed memo and in handwritten notes taken by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec on Oct. 11, 2016.

Her observations were recorded exactly 10 days before the FBI used Steele and his infamous dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s contacts with Russia in search of a now debunked collusion theory.

It is important to note that the FBI swore on Oct. 21, 2016, to the FISA judges that Steele’s “reporting has been corroborated and used in criminal proceedings” and the FBI has determined him to be “reliable” and was “unaware of any derogatory information pertaining” to their informant, who simultaneously worked for Fusion GPS, the firm paid by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign to find Russian dirt on Trump.

Solomon continues –

Kavalec’s handwritten notes clearly flagged in multiple places that Steele might be talking to the media.

“June — reporting started,” she wrote. “NYT and WP have,” she added, in an apparent reference to The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Later she quoted Steele as suggesting he was “managing” four priorities — “Client needs, FBI, WashPo/NYT, source protection,” her handwritten notes show.

Those same notes suggest Steele spun some wild theories to State, including one that the Russians had a “plant in DNC” and had assembled an “HRC dossier,” apparent references to the Democratic National Committee and Clinton.

The FBI redacted the recipient’s names in Kavalec’s notes and emails to prevent the likely evidence that the FBI was made aware of that the dossier was fake and Steele was sharing the dossier with the press.

In the Iowa Senator Grassley letter to Rosenstein at the DOJ and Wray at the FBI dated January 4, 2018, the Senator says that in an interview Comey said in March 2017 that Steele was reliable –

Per Grassley’s letter the FBI states that Steele’s dossier was similar to an article  Michael Isikoff at Yahoo News released in September 2016 but the FBI denied it was the same by stating the the “FBI does not believe that [Steele] directly provided this information to the press” (emphasis added).

Note that the FBI does not say “Isikoff” or “Yahoo News”, it says “the press”.

Also, the second paragraph in the FISA application states that the information for the warrant came from the State Department –

Additionally, according to an interview of Victoria Nuland at far-left Politico [emphasis added] –

In the interview, Nuland said she was familiar with Steele’s work through regular reports he had passed on to her office over the previous several years dealing with political maneuverings in Russia and Ukraine. When presented by an intermediary with the startling information about “linkages” between Trump and Russia that summer, “what I did was say that this is about U.S. politics,” Nuland recounted, “and not the business of the State Department, and certainly not the business of a career employee who is subject to the Hatch Act, which requires that you stay out of politics. So, my advice to those who were interfacing with him was that he should get this information to the FBI, and that they could evaluate whether they thought it was credible.”

Obama’s State Department provided the Steele dossier to the FBI and the Grassley memo confirms this.

Information that the dossier was a fraud was provided to the FBI before the October 2016 FISA application was requested, making the FISA request fraud.  The State Department reports to the President.  Obama was in on it.
