If you want to keep your job – work for the federal government. A new study shows if you work for the feds – you’re more likely to die…than get laid off or fired.
The government has a 2.1-million person workforce…and last year only 11,600 workers were fired – or less than one-half of one percent. And only 6,000 employees were laid off.
Government employee unemployment rate...less than one-half of one percent. The rest of us...nearly 10%.
One department spokesman (Government worker) said the study shows the Federal Government has a skilled and committed workforce. A management professional (Someone in the real world) said no – it shows a serious lack of good management.
