I've tried almost all of the available Pizza restaurants Pizzas and to me, the best of the group is the Pie Factory (Downtown or Muscle Shoals), and then I actually like Pizza Hut's pizzas.  Of the major chains, I like Pizza Hut followed by Papa Johns then Dominos.  I know many seem to like Marco's and I do like that you can eat in Marco's store but for some reason, I just don't like Marco's unique taste.

As for the non-pizza items I have to give Kudos to Domino's for their sandwiches which are very good.   Just curious what others think and what's your favorite pizzas?

Although I don't usually eat frozen pizzas I wonder what my fellow forum members like regarding the frozen pizza offerings?

I am with you on Pie Factory.  I haven't had a bad pizza from there yet.  My favorite is actually not on the menu anymore but they will make it for you.  It is called the El Blanco.   Other than that, locally I'd say my second favorite is Pizza Chef, particularly their Mexican Pizza.   All of the major chains are pretty similar to me, but I guess I would pick Pizza Hut if forced to choose one.

I will also travel to Huntsville from time to time just for some Mellow Mushroom, the Holy Shiitake to be more specific.

Okay, got me wondering now because it sounds good, what's an El Blanco pizza?  I'm guessing by the name and your favorite Pizza Chef pizza that this El Blanco is a Mexican oriented pizza pie also.

If you ever get to Atlanta you really should look up Fellini's Pizza which is the second-best pie I've ever had.  The best was from a place called Pizza Caesars which is now closed and was in Chattanooga, TN years ago.  Was not a chain joint but a mom and pop Pizza place and the reason it closed is Ceasar (yeah that was his name) decided to move back to Chicago.  Still, his recipe and product were so good and tasty I can still, 40 years later, remember the taste when it came out hot from the traditional old pizza oven, not the conveyor ovens, and at the first bite you best be setting down because your legs would, or could, buckle.

If in Panama City check out NY's Famous Pizza.  I really hope they didn't get hurt by the last Hurricane.  If you click on the name above it's the link to their web page.

Yeah ... I'm a food·ie.

El Blanco is a very simple pizza. It has a garlic aoli base and it’s topped with feta mozzarella and I think one other cheese and it has tomatoes sun dried tomatoes and onions.  It’s very minimal but super tasty

I'm glad you told me because, for some reason, I just don't like feta cheese, but it may just be that I don't like feta in Lasagna and would like it on Pizza.  I don't know with all the other Pizzas I like if I will be trying the El Blanco anytime soon but thanks for the answer.
