Do you know how we Conservative Christians can tell when we are doing things right? When the atheists and Far Left Liberals begin throwing rocks. The more stones thrown -- the better our Christian message must be; for it is angering the tribes.

When we come to this neighborhood, we should always take extra precaution to make sure we have put on the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20).

The Stones of Atheism and the Rocks of Liberalism are no match for our Full Armor of God.

Do the "tribes" include fellow Christians? Cuz you anger some of us, too. And we do take the Word of God quite seriously....

After spending several weeks reading the posts in this forum I have reached a few conclusions.
1. This is Bill Gray's forum.
2. Anyone who doesn't see it Bill's way is wrong and deserves to be stoned.
3. {this one was really news to me}..anyone who doesn't believe is part of an organized effort to destroy the world.
4. If I do become a believer, I ain't got to worry about living right cause once I'm in I'm in.
5. The way into the heavenly kingdom is through Bill.

Is this a fair assement?

I think that things are a bit exaggerated in this religion forum.

1. Mr Bill does post a lot, and verbosely also; but he has a right to do so! Same as each of us. First Amendment, anyone? I've had differences in opinion with him in the past, by the way. I'm not a Baptist or Church of Christ cheerleader (their skirts are too long and bras are not optional), but being broad-minded is hard work.

2. The two questions were both flawed. To choose either alternative commits one to more than one would wish.

a. There's not an excessive cordiality in this religion forum, period. Yes, Mr. Bill sometimes goes overboard, but he's not the only one. And I'm not excluding myself, I'm embarassed to say.

b. Mr. Bill doesn't help the cause of religion; but he does not harm it either. I'm sorry, but the devil costume just doesn't fit him. I must admit that he has his good side too; he seems to have developed an entente with a few of us, and I'm willing to be included.

3. Therefore, I see this whole issue as overrated. Please look under your beds for hobgoblins instead!

Disappointed, Billy wouldn't know cordiality if it jumped up & bit him on his azz.
As for harming the cause of religion, he's killing it. If he is what religion is, most of us wouldn't want any.

I looked under my bed for hobgoblins, & there wasn't any. But I did find a couple on here.

I have lots of hobgoblins under my bed. They are very happy.

Bill is overzealous, makes mistakes, takes a hard line, and is stubborn in his beliefs.

But, the devil, he is not.

I am quite stubborn in my beliefs as well, so clashes occur.

Now, any one up for smores?

According to your previous posts; you were walking away, no, make the running away -- from God long before you and I met on the Forum. So, sorry, I cannot accept the applause for that result.

However, it does strike one as odd that the most outspoken person on HOW to share God's Word on the Forum -- is one who does not recognize God.

Just possibly, the reason I am salt to your wound -- is because your wound is caused by your running away from God. Think about it.

Bill, your senility is showing again. I've been to church before, you know it. Sorry I don't fit your legalese version of a Christian, but that's your problem not mine.

One day, you might find some love in your heart, but I doubt it. You need to read up on the Pharisees, then look in the mirror. You'll then be able to put a face to any mental picture you might drum up from said reading.

I laughed out loud that you consider yourself salt to my wound, even though there isn’t any!! But, hey, if that makes you feel good to think so….have at it!!

It isn’t so much your message, (except your once saved, always saved) that bothers people, it’s all in HOW you deliver that message.

I know unsaved people that show a lot more compassion & love than you do & in someone that considers themselves a Christian, I find that very, very sad.
