I have a laptop with Windows Vista home edition less than one year old. I have tried to install Adobe Flash player but have not been successful. The problem is that I now can't play those fun, mind numbing free games on Yahoo. They don't show up. I am sure it is just an IE setting that I don't have set up right. Can any one help me figure this mess out?

Thanks

If you do you have to download it manually here:

I have gone there and downloaded the player. That is actually what started this issue. I didn't have a problem until I installed the flash player. Now I can't do what I was attempting to do and have lost some functionality.
uninstalled it and then reinstalled. Contrary son of a buck! I am going to call it a night. I had a link to The Atlantic about Finland sent to me by my boss who is Finnish. Couldn't very well tell him that I didn't watch it next time I see him!! It was interesting but not worth this frustration.

Thanks again!
