I wasn't trying to be any "way" and apologize if it seemed like it. I just couldn't understand why what I was saying wasn't clear to you - whether you agree with me or not. It's a passionate issue on both sides and brings out passionate debate; that's a good thing. Smiler

I agree some changes need to happen but not like what is being talked about. Believe it or not but I try to see both sides and try to be respectful. An apology was not required but Thanks. BTW Neither Bush nor Clinton did anything about health care.

Clinton did try to reform it. Remember Hillary-Care from 1993? She was quickly smacked down by the Republicans who had insurance companies in their back pockets - same as what's going on now. Just imagine if it had been reformed then, when the Clinton's tried to make it a priority. Of course, sometimes I also like to imagine what today would be like had the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 actually been enforced. Oh well. I say often that I can't afford the price of real estate in La La Land, so I try not to think about these things too long.

This Nation, the United States of America, CAN NOT AFFORD Obama Care. I don't care how much you think you deserve it or how badly you think you need it, WE CAN'T AFFORD this insurance BOONDOGGLE. Do the math, if you took all the wealth away from rich people, 100 percent tax, there is still a short fall. Obama Care is another empty promise.

Ditto!
Hello? Why is there such a problem with comprehending what I've typed? I've said - over and over again - that we need real reform. Changes need to include insurance companies actually insuring people and paying for services, the ability for Americans to purchase plans across state lines and changes to the fee-for-service way that physicians are paid now. I DID NOT SAY AT ANY TIME THAT I WANTED OBAMACARE! I said if it comes to that, the insurance companies can't cry because they've had time to implement reform without being forced. And I've also said that I at least appreciate the fact that the current administration is recognizing this as a real challenge to American families, as opposed to the prior administration - you know, the one with the leader who was born with the silver spoon in his mouth. Geez!

There's an inverse relationship between the price we all pay and the level of care provided. Co-pays, deductibles and premiums have skyrocketed in the last few years, but we keep getting less coverage for the price. American families can not sustain the status quo - that seems to be just fine with some of you. Those of you who keep arguing so vehemently on this subject don't realize the current system is broken?
