There is a concerted effort these days from scammers, no that's too good, thieves, in an attempt to get your Social Security Number.  I've received no less than three calls all from different numbers, one SanAntonio, Texas and another from LosAngeles and in both cases a very noticeable (Bad quality) computer voice reading an almost identical warning.

In each case they give you a number to call the Social Security office to get the problem settled and to avoid legal action against your social security number.  I only wish someone could file legal action against these thieves but they will most likely never get caught.  I'd love to call the number they gave and mess with the people on the phone but with caller ID I just don't want them even knowing I care to call.  I also blocked each number as they call but it is fruitless as it's a computer that spoofing a number and calling different people so the number will appear as a different number calling every time.  The real problem is Cell Carriers that allow these spoofed calls to make it through to the number they are calling.

So Beware and do not call these numbers back.  If you are in trouble with the Government rest assured you will either get a visit from the "Men/People in Black" or get a letter in the mail, most likely certified delivery.
