Sadly, because we live in Alabama (a “flyover” state that is usually safely in the Republican corner) the odds that you will get to participate in a meaningful poll are quite slim. Frankly, it's a forgone conclusion nationally that Alabama's electoral votes are already safely ensconced in the “R” column leaving little to be gained by extensive polling. Look at the electoral map below. Excluding the very small number of counties in blue, the election of 2004 was quite one sided. There is no need to expend precious resources to tell us something we already know.

Having been involved in the composition, distribution and decoding of polling data there would be little that could be gained unless you were looking at congressional races or something more localized. It is fun though to get the opinion of the guys around the water cooler though!
