A potential Cure for Crohn’s disease, a to now incurable disease is said to be in existence.  I, as a Crohn’s disease patient, found this news to be very hopeful but like everything else it has to stand out the test of time.  I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was diagnosed with it in 1975 and have had a total of three surgeries due to the disease, my last on in November 2018 and thankfully, so far, I haven’t had to have my bowel removed due to it.

Crohn’s has always been an incurable disease and today there are many more diagnosed with it than before.  Used to, when I was first diagnosed with the disease it was referred to as an orphan disease because not too many had it or few were diagnosed with it but over time more and more people were and it’s no longer an orphan disease.  Now this linked article does say that the disease can be cured.  For me I’d settle for remaining in remission or at least putting it in remission but either way I hope that this does pan out to be true and can be implemented

I hope it's what they say it is, enough is enough already...!!

This is true.  I'm one of the lucky ones with it because I've not had the kind that grows and spreads fast to the point that the only thing you can do is a colostomy in order to live.  One of my coworker's wife had the aggressive type and even though she had the Colostomy she still succumbed to the disease.  Although mine is not the aggressive and fast type my Crohn's is the type that doesn't respond so well to various medicines that are available today but more and more advances are being found and discovered around the world.
