The big national prayer rally in Houston featuring Texas Governor and likely Republican presidential candidate is infested with a bunch of off-the-wall evangelical pseudocharismatic wackos, including "Apostle" C. Peter Wagner.  As described in the link below, Wagner "is also a chief advocate of Seven Mountains Dominionism, which holds that fundamentalist Christians should have control over all aspects of society."  But if you think that is wacky, consider THIS:

"Following the deadly earthquake in Japan earlier this year, Peter Wagner argued that the disaster was punishment from God because Japan “invited national demonization” and the pagan Sun Goddess had “sexual intercourse with the Emperor” of Japan. He similarly blamed Japan’s economic problems on the Emperor’s supernatural sex life: 'Since the night that the present emperor slept with the sun Goddess, the stock market in Japan has gone down - never come up since.'”

Check out this video for some indication of the radical claims made by "Apostle" Wagner.

The "Seven Mountains Dominionism" espoused by Wagner and other extremist right-wing evangelicals is a scary business, reeking of extreme Christian Nationalism.

"As we have explained before, Seven Mountains dominionism seeks to place Christians in control over the seven forces that shape and control our culture: (1) Business; (2) Government; (3) Media; (4) Arts and Entertainment; (5) Education; (6) Family; and (7) Religion.  The reason for this, as Lance Wallnau, the leading advocate for Seven Mountains theology, explained is that Jesus "doesn't come back until He's accomplished the dominion of nations."  And the way "dominion of nations" is accomplished is by having Christians gain control of these "seven mountains" in order to install a "virtual theocracy" overseen by "true apostles" who will fight Satan and his Antichrist agenda.

David Barton, the darling boy of the Christian Nationalists, is apparently a sympathizer of  Seven Mountains theology:

The deplorable John Hagee also is a conference speaker.  This is the same John Hagee that John McCain got inveigled into appearing with and endorsing and then having to embarrassingly disclaim.

Original Post

Before left wingers complained about Bush attending the National Pray Breakfast organized, they claim, by some great conspiracy.

Now, Obama attends and we hear nothing!

At least, from those mentioned above, we hear no "G** D***** America!", as we did from Obama's favorite Looney Tunes preacher.

Remove beam from eye and foot from mouth before proceeding to preach about righteousness to anyone else!
