Serena Williams was losing a tennis tournament to a relative unknown. What does she do? She took it out on a poor ole ballboy/line judge trying to make a living. Telling the line judge, "I'm going to shove this ball down your f-ing throat." Much like Tiger blaming "whitey" in the crowd when he's losing a tournament and he makes a bad shot. Man up, Serena!

Yeah, I know this should be in the sports section, but it aint.

If not mistaken the slow motion replay proved that Serena was right and the judge was wrong. I am not excusing her behavior. What she did is no different from baseball players cursing out umpires, basketball players yelling at referees, and so on. Make this a race thing if you like but those with a thimble size dose of common sense know that athletes often loose their cool.

John McEnroe must have blamed "whitey" also. I believed he was known for arguing at white officials also.

I don't think this is a "race" thing, but Serena is a woman and she should act like a lady. She could have contested angrily without using the foul language and I doubt it would be this big of a deal. Double standard? Yes, but she has more class than to act like that...

I agree, but I am not the one that brought race into this topic.
