I'm pulling a #6 here, just like my F.R.A.N, Bill.

_____________________________

Bill is getting old, and doesn't have a lot of spare time left to get his spiritual house in order and make a bunch of long posts based on his redundant themes and diatribes.  These all fall into about nine or ten categories, and I'm helping Bill out while he learns the new system.

In order to save us all a huge amount of time, I've proposed to Bill that instead of taking all the time to copy and past, and dig up old rants, and generally be his usual self, that he just post answers according to a number system.  Each number is associated with one of Bill's well known diatribes or posting topics.

The topics are:

1) Homosexuality

2) Abortion

3) Cult religions

4) Creationism

5) Triburaptulation

6) Re-posting of anything previously posted

7) Fundy non-answers, diversions and off-topic additions

8) Based on a false premise

9) Nothing relevant while belittling the original poster.

10) Links to information not read or not understood, and/or copy-and-paste

11) Bibliolatry

12) Stories and failed analogies - some true, some not, and most all counterproductive to Bill's point.

Givens for every one of Bill's posts:

a) It's all about Bill.

b) I had about 5 others, but a) pretty much covered them all.

You couldn't care less? That's rich, considering you post topics & say things for Billy's benefit just to get him started. Your anger shows in every post you make.

Hi Crusty,

There is only one problem with your scheme.   I can read and write with having to do it by the numbers.   It truly is a pity that you cannot.  I don't doubt you still have a bunch of those Paint By The Numbers kits laying around.

You see, my Friend, there are those of us who can read and write more than THREE SENTENCES without getting confused.   But, please, my Friend -- if you need this crutch -- by all means, stay with it.   And, I will keep you in prayer for healing, divine healing.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Just trying to save you some time to do something useful.  Out of 100 posts, you probably only have one that is "original".  Think about all the things you could do around the house to help Dory out.  Or you might even do something helpful for someone else, besides hugging them or trying to get them fired.

You could actually develop a real relationship with God instead of your delusional idolatry of the Bible.

If that doesn't motivate you, then you should embrace the system so that all the people who don't read you and ignore your posts can quickly digest what you are trying to say.  That way, you might actually reach some of them.

But thank you once again for proving that you read even less of my posts than I do of yours.  Either that or you need to get some remedial reading lessens.

Bless your confused little heart.

Have another blissed day, Bill.

Hi all,

Today, on Facebook, a long time Roman Catholic Friend (we became Friends when the Passion of Christ movie came out) posted a comment on my Note titled "Do You Know God Spiritually, Only Intellectually - Or Not At All?"   She wrote, "Maimonides, the philosopher, said 'The more you seek God, the more you find Him.' "

And, I replied to her:

"When Maimonides, the philosopher, said 'The more you seek God, the more you find Him' -- he, being a Jewish philosopher and a Torah scholar, most likely was referring to Scripture, where God tells us:

Proverbs 8:17, "I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me."

Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart."

Amos 5:4, "For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel, 'Seek Me that you may live.' "

The gentleman in my Note above is from the TimesDaily Religion Forum.  Normally, I do not publish my dialogues with him on other venues.  On that Forum, there are other Roman Catholic Friends with whom I can have serious, constructive exchanges.  But, their are two on the Forum who tell me they are converts to Roman Catholicism and are very militant.  Typically, instead of making a point and giving Scriptural reasoning to support that thought -- they post comments such as, "You're a liar!  You're ignorant!  You're stupid!" and other such intelligent arguments.

The reason I have published this one is because there are other folks who also do not see that God and His Written Word, the Bible, are synonymous.  When we read the Bible, that is God speaking.  He has given us His Written Word that we might know the path to salvation and eternal life in Christ, and He has given us His Written Word to guide us in our daily Christian walk.

So, when my Forum Friend tries to put God on one side of the room -- and His Bible on the other side, I must speak up and tell him, "When one sees the wind rustling through the leaves, they are inseparable, for without the wind there would be no rustling of the leaves.  And, God and His Word are just as inseparable."

Thank you, my Friend, for your comment and insight. God bless, Bill

And, right on cue -- here is my Friend, Crusty, making his pompous declaration.  Thank you, Crusty.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Wow, Bill you have completely lost it.  I've never seen this post before, and never commented on it.

That makes this another big old #9.

As for my "pompous" comment, I assume you are talking about my pointing out your bibliolatry - that is worshiping the Bible, and placing it on the same level as God himself.  This is blasphemy of the worst kind.  Under no Christian doctrines are there the concept of the Holy Quartet, only the Holy Trinity.  I believe there are even commandments against idolatry and putting other "gods" before (or even on the same level as) the God of the Bible.

If anyone believes in the Holy Quartet, which certainly isn't Biblical, and is most certainly heretical, you need to find a relationship with God; because otherwise, you are surely choosing the path to hell.

God isn't a book.

Have another blissed day, Bill.

Okay, it's been a while, so I'm going to tally the results.  We have 75% for Bill using the system and 25% say they don't read Bill.  There were several people that didn't vote that also said they didn't read Bill, and thousands of readers who read but don't respond.  So I guess they don't read Bill either.

By my count then, the vast majority of people here find Bill irrelevant, and the rest of us want him to embrace the system.

It really is very easy, Bill.  I designed it so a simpleton could use it, and it will save you a ton of time to do something productive.  When you have the urge to post one of your long, boring, rambling missives, just pull out the list, plop  down the numbers, post them, and go make yourself a sandwich instead.
