I gave the old coot six months before they jerked him and put in Heels up Harris...but it's looking like he won't make it that long. As far as no news conferences...I can go the rest of my life without hearing the old stuttering fool...but he's killing the country.

President Joe Biden’s stumble while climbing the stairs of Air Force One brought out into the open talk about his age and whether that is impacting his ability to do his job as America’s commander in chief.

The irony being that the Trump-hating media establishment opened this door with their questioning the health of Biden’s predecessor walking down a ramp last year.

Adding to the concerns, the 78-year-old Democratic president has still not held a press conference, with today marking the 62nd day Biden has been in office without a formal Q&A with White House reporters, and it’s on that note that Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, said what many must be thinking.

A former White House physician, Jackson served three presidents, including Donald Trump and Barack Obama, and he took to Twitter to comment on Biden “hiding from the public.”

“I served as White House physician under THREE Presidents. I’ve seen what it takes physically AND mentally to do the job. I can tell you right now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a MAJOR red flag. Something’s not right!” he tweeted. The White House announced that President Biden will hold a press conference on Thursday, March 25, which will be his 65th day in office.

With Biden seemingly missing in action at times, even liberal media outlets seen as allies are taking note of the avoidance.

The Washington Post reported that Biden’s 60+ day stretch of no news conference is the longest in a century, since President Calvin Coolidge, who was called “Silent Cal.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki has countered the criticism of Biden going so long by pointing to occasional questions thrown out by reporters that he responds to.

The gaffes Biden is known for continue, as does the occasional slurring of his words.

He struggled to recall the name of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and the name of the Pentagon during a recent briefing, and last week called Vice President Kamala Harris “President Harris.”

And while Jackson has not examined Biden, he was raising a red flag back in October about Biden’s cognitive ability, saying then, “Something’s going on here.”

“As a citizen, not as a candidate running for Congress, but as a citizen of this country, I’ve watched Joe Biden on the campaign trail and I am concerned and convinced that he does not have the mental capacity, the cognitive ability, to serve as our commander-in-chief and our head of state,” he said.

Fox News’ senior political analyst Brit Hume, 77, has long said that Biden’s age has caught up to him.

“I don’t have any doubt Biden’s senile,” Hume said in October.

Biden falling up the stairs of Air Force One last week was not helped when the White House opted to blame the wind in its response.

“It’s very windy outside,” White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said. “He is doing 100 percent fine. He’s doing great.”

Great, the president of the United States felled by a stiff breeze — the world must be watching and thinking WTH?

The excuse prompted Donald Trump Jr. to respond with a doctored video of his father hitting a golf ball that was made to look like it hit Biden in the head causing him to fall on the stairs.

He added, “It wasn’t the wind folks.”

All eyes will be on Biden Thursday, but as Hume has already noted, “Elderly people experiencing memory loss and other problems associated with age can go for periods, for hours at a time, and be just fine.”

With steadily rising gas prices and a humanitarian crisis on our southern border, the recent bombing of Syria and the unprecedented number of executive orders Biden has signed since being in office, there is certainly plenty to answer for.

Which is not to say the president’s media allies will not defend him to the very end — or until they are ready to anoint Harris the next commander in chief.
