World Bazaar was there it was sorta like a cluttered version of Pier 1 but I loved the store. I had forgotten about Big Top Deli but they had awesome sandwiches.
They sure did! They would steam them for you if you wanted. Does anyone know who ran the Big Top?
Which original stores are still there? I know Orange Julius is still spinning hotdogs. Maybe some of the same hotdogs??
The Pizitz bakery had very good cakes...they had a tasty fruit filling between the layers.

I'd been trying to remember Pedro's name. They had great "burgers" made with their taco filling. They were cheap and a great place to take a date.
They had a bean dip with cheese that I could live on.
there was a hairdresser's between the two castner knott entrances into the main mall. can't remember what the name of the place was, but that is where i met the girl who cut my hair for the next 25 years (not at that same place, though!)
i liked that world bazaar store, too....
was dill's wood and wax in the mall when it first opened? i miss parisian's, too.
i remember when that whole area was cotton fields and woods. southern sash was the only thing out that way.

I think the hair salon was Regent's. They seemed to have a high turnover of stylists.
Does anyone remember the name of the business that cut an styled hair inside Regency Square Mall when it first opened? If my memory is correct, I think the name of the business was called Style Masters as I have vague memories of the staff sometimes wearing t-shirts which read, Cosmetologist Do It With Style.
