I buy the family sized bags, three bags make a gallon. I start out with cold water and as soon as it starts to boil I put the bags in one at a time cover with a tight lid and turn burner off immediately, let it steep for several minutes then it is ready to add sugar and dilute with cold water and ice.
I can drink it lightly sweetened or unsweetened, does not matter if I am at a restaurant. I do not like it with too much sugar though
I make sure I have an ample supply of tea bags on hand. Right now I have three brands in the cabinet, Sun Leaf from Big Star, American Value from Dollar General, and Red Diamond from who knows where.

Thats how I make my tea as well, Gus!


I started to say, hey you do it just like I do. I like about half the sugar most people do.
