Hmmm...

WASHINGTON - The tea party is not a racist group, says Vice President Joe Biden, though he believes that some of those involved in the movement have expressed racist views.

"Very conservative, very different views on government and a whole lot of things," Biden said during an interview broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week." "But it is not a racist organization."

President Barack Obama doesn't think so, either, Biden said.

Then, we have "pot calling kettle black"...

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People approved a resolution last week calling on tea party activists and others to "repudiate the racist element and activities" within the political movement.

of course they arent, thats why the spokesman for The Tea Party Express wrote:

"We Coloreds have taken a vote and decided that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!"

Is that a racist comment? Are the Black Panthers a racist organization? Is Jessee Jackson or Al Sharpton racists?

Nope. Only white people can be racists. Anybody else does it and it's 'cultural expression.'

what Puppy said. white people can't even express an opinion on racism without be labeled racist.
Sure,the tea party is not racist,and that being true, it necessarily follows that:

The pope is not Catholic;

Angelina Jolie is not a woman;

Donald Duck is not a duck;

LeBron James is not skilled in the game of basketball;

Tiger Woods is not an adulterer;

Jupiter is not a planet;

Warren Buffett is not a billionaire;

Willie Nelson never smokes weed;

Bill Gates knows nothing about software;

Steve Strasburg can't throw a baseball over 30 miles per hour;and

God didn't make little green apples!

Glad to set the record straight on these much misunderstood issues!

Uhh...Ya left one out...

"Obama was born in Hawaii".
I think there are racist undertones to the Tea Party movement, but I wouldn't call them all racists.

The problem is we have never had serious discussions on race as a country. I feel like, a lot of the displeasure with Obama is not because he's liberal, it's because he's half black and there are some white people that don't like the idea of a black man being President of the United States of America. Whether one wants to admit it or not, that's the truth.

Where have you been for the last 50 years? There are a lot less black people that like the idea of a black president than there were a year ago.
