TBG - there is no email from BEST OF SHOALS in my spam @ aol - it just isn't working out with aol for some reason
AOL does some weird stuff. they always did. they had their own web browser and stuff when nobody else did. i think aol started out as apple's version for the internet and then everything went IBM compatible instead.
Well, my spam folder is empty, there is nothing new in my new mail folder either? Patience is a virtue.
unclegus, i am sorry. and yes, patience is determinately a virtue! ha! may i suggest you start an email addy with yahoo or some other web based service and use that to register and such. i know it is crazy but AOL sometimes acts up. i bet that's how you got Firefox in the first place? 
I'm AOL and I got mine. Try accessing your aol through internet explorer. My aol runs slower than explorer so I get my mail through explorer all the time now.
I must have missed a lot. I haven't been posting in a while and haven't read all of this thread but I am sad to her the Voice of the Shoals is gone!

I rec'd my notification immediatley through hotmail. I suggest hotmail or gmail as a great second (or third) account. The only drawback to these is that, since they are free, some sites won't let anyone use them as a main addy. I suppose they think they're just college students masterminding a Drano bomb plot.
