rb,i know you addressed mas,but i have thought here on something you posted. I have a feeling all those votes that were rounded up simply for his color could come back to bite him. Far too many voted simply for his skin color, and "spread the wealth". When things do not begin an immediate turn in those voters lives they may very well become the thorns in his side.
Whatever Obamas plans are to get this country turned around is going to take time, going to be a bumpy ride for awhile.
I hope those folks "blinded" by color to his favor, do not become disenchanted . This too could be a major hurdle down the road of the next 4 years.
mean, your repeated name calling of "white" trash is extensive. What part of his economy/foreign policies do you like - not just titles - but ACTUAL policies. Like, you support him because he wants to raise taxes on the "rich" (which happens to be the middle class).

As far as landslides in the last 5 elections- Bush 1, Clinton 2terms, Bush 2 terms - these are the last 5 elections you are comparing with? Interesting. Also, in dealing with defeat, I'm dealing with it probably in a much better manner than YOU have ever dealed with your last 2 defeats. He is the president, but, I'm going to claim the "show me state" as my new residence.
All over television today, the kept referring to Obama as America's first black president, and I considered the fact that his mother was white and his father black. So, I'm thinking, not our first black president but our first 50/50 president...he is neither black nor white; therefore, he is a mongrelized race of half n' half.
