what are your priorities? what is good for the country? many vote for personality rather than policy.
I worked as a manager for years. Success comes from hiring the best person for the job not the person someone likes. It is the same in voting. Although there are factors that affect the vote often it is voting for the lesser of evils.
Trump was my third pick in the republican primaries however now I believe he was the best president since Reagon. I didn't like him personally but was able to see through that. I liked the border wall (never understood we defend other countries border but not our own), I liked America First. I supported the stop sending our money to other countries (dropping Paris accord).
For many years we have seen politicians lie when running for office. Sadly many still fall for it. One sign was when democrat elected accused Trump of just trying to keep campaign promises. I still don't understand what is wrong with that. Does that mean they lie when campaigning?
DC is a swamp filled with corrupt democrat and republicans along with employees in the government. My suggestion is in primaries candidates need to be narrowed to one against the incumbent. What I have seen is three against the incumbent, taking votes from each other. Total votes of the three is more than what incumbent received. it is time to take our country back
